| 1) What is the r-value of your insulated concrete forms?
R-value is a measure of how well insulation will resist the flow of heat. Higher R-values means greater insulating ability, which means greater house hold energy savings and greater cost savings.
The r-value per inch of VARIANTHOUSE forms is: 4.708
So the following applies to our forms:
9.8 inch form has an r-value of 18.8
13.7 inch form has an r-value of 37.6
17.7 inch form has an r-value of 56.4
These values are for VARIANTHOUSE material only. The values do not take into consideration thermal mass nor finishes applied to our forms. |
